TINT AFTER CARE, AND PRODUCTS

WHAT TO EXPECT

Light haziness, swirl lines or streaks

As the tint cures with the help of the suns heat, the small amounts of slip solution left behind during the install might give a hazy appearance, but our films are lined with air release pores that will allow any humidity left behind to evaporate within a few days.

possible small humidity bubbles

When the temperature outside is over 95 degrees, the left over humidity from the install might possibly have small humidity bubble like pockets, but within a couple days the films small air release pores will allow for that humidity to evaporate leaving behind a perfect install

3 day long curing process

Your freshly installed tint needs heat and time to ensure full curing of the adhesive holding the tint to the glass. In order to ensure there is no adhesive failure, we highly recommend  a minimum of 3 days with out rolling any window down that has just had tint installed. The reason for this is to ensure the contact with the bottom window seal does not affect the strength of the adhesive.

AMMONIA-FREE CLEANERS ONLY

Avoid Ammonia Cleaners
Ammonia can break down window tint over time, leading to bubbling, discoloration, and peeling.

Use This Instead:
We recommend Sprayway Glass Cleaner – it's ammonia-free and safe for tinted windows.

F.A.Q

Can I wash my car after my tint install?

Of Course! you can wash the outside of your car no problem — the tint’s on the inside. Just try not to roll the windows down or clean the inside glass for a few days while it’s still curing

What benefits come with my film?

All our tint films block 99% of harmful UV rays to protect your skin and your car’s interior. Plus, we offer a great selection of films with different levels of heat rejection to keep your ride cooler and more comfortable

Does it even matter if I wait to roll the windows down?

Yes, it matters! Waiting 3 days before rolling down your windows helps the tint fully stick and cure. If you roll them down too soon, the film can peel or develop bubbles.
